ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
JUNE 4, 1984
The Workshop meeting was~held in
review the finished Subdivision
from the May 9, 1984 meeting.
Those in attendance were;

A brief review of the Subdivision Applications and Requests this year
were held:
The status of the Subdivision Applications and Requests for.thus far this
year were reviewed briefly. The pending 3506 Sunset Subdivision request
was mentioned as scheduled for re-noticing for the June 14, 1984
regular meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission.
The 3302 University Boulevard subdivision request was stated as having
been denied at^t-!~'~~ ~

Wayne Perry advi~ed of one new sub ivision request being noticed for
the June 14, 1984 meeting. It would be Docket #84-7 for lot at 6343
Rutgers by Pat and Alice Johnson.
David Allums then reviewed the Subdivision Procedures and Documents
package, with the following items brought forth in the discussion.
The lot must be "buildable" in order to be counted in the for and
against petition forms prescribed in the State Statute.
There will be time allowed at the beginning of the Public hearing
for lot owners within the noticed area to sign the for or against
forms in case they did not receive the forms.
The Subdivision Documents package will be processed, assembled,
and made available at the hearing for the Zoning and Planning Commission.
The Building Inspector's Office will process the responses from the
lot owners within the noticed area and fill out the tabulation form
for the package.
Mr. Tom Weatherly suggested the consideration of "for or against"
boxes in the Building Insp~ctor'~s Office. The qaestion of~lot owners
in the noticed area voting both ways was discussed, It was determined
that all "votes" are properly counted in their respective categories
of for or against and the results tabulated as prescribed by the
State Statute.. The handling and receiving of the for or against
forms was agreed to be administrative dicisions in the Building
Inspector's Office.
Mr. Tom Weatherly discussed mailing the for and against forms with the
notice to interested property owners. The benefits, the extra paper
to be handled by the Building Inspector's Office, and the availability
of the forms at the convenient of the City Hall location's was discussed.
It was agreed this would be given further consideration in the near future.

Mike 0'Leary made the motion that the Subdivision Procedures and
Documents package of May 9, 1984 be approved as revised and
presented at this meeting~, such approval to be effective May 9, 1984.
The motion was seconded by Jim Norton. All voted "aye" the motion
carried.
Jim Norton made the motion to adjourn, Mike 0'Leary seconded. All
voted "aye." The meeting was adjourned. ~
