REGULAR MEETING
ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
CI.TY OF WE5T UNIVERSITY PLACE
DATE: SEPTEMBER 7, 1988
7:30 P.M.
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of West
University Place, Texas convened in regular session in the
City Counsel Chambers, City Hall, 3800 University Boulevard,
City of West University Place, Texas, the second Thursday of
September, being September 7, 1988.
Members present were:
George Ruhlen
Susan Rachlin
Reid C. Wilson
Bonnie T. Holmes
Others in attendance were:

There were no specific matters on the agenda.
2. General Matters.
Commissioner Ruhlen moved that in accordance with the
request of Reid Wilson, 5ecretary of the Commission, that
Susan Rachlin be named Secretary of the Commission and that
Reid Wilson be named Assistant Secretary of the Commission.
Motion was seconded by Bonnie Holmes and was passed unani-
mously.
Marshall Willis, a builder in West University Place,
addressed the Commission regarding certain lots in the 4000
block of Marlow which apparently had been previously subdi-
vided. Mr. Willis was referred to the Zoning Ordinance and
the prohibition of subdivision of new lots to a size smaller
than 75 feet in width and 110 feet in depth.
Mr. Perry, Building Official for the City, presented a
copy of Ordinance No. 1038 which apparently has been ommitted
in the current, as well as, all prior codifications of the
Zoning Ordinance. The Commission agreed that this ordinance

~ would be considered as part of any technical corrections to
the new Zoning Ordinance. A copy of Ordinance No. 1038 is
attached to the minutes of this meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
