REGULAR MEETING
ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE
DATE: JANUARY 11, 1990
7:30 P.M.
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of West University
Place, Texas convened in regular-session in the City Council
Chambers, City Hall, 3800 University Boulevard, City of West
University Place, Texas, the second Thu'rsday of January, 1990,
being January 11, 1990.
Members present were:
George Ruhlen
Robert Lindsey
Ralph Stivison
Bonnie T. Holmes
Others in attendance were:
Vice Chairman
Wayne Perry

Chief Building Official
Notice of ineeting was posted in the City Hall of West University
Place, Texas at least seventy-two (72) hours preceding the day of
the meeting as required by law.
A quorum was declared and the meeting convened by George Ruhlen,
Vice Chairman, in the absence of Reid Wilson, Chairman.
1. Hearinq of Residents:
No residents were in attendance.
2. Zonincx Matters:
Review of current Zoning Ordinance - The Commission
considered the proposed technical corrections to the Zoning
Ordinance as prepared by ~Jim Dougherty, City Attorney and
distributed to all members of the Commission. The Commission
reviewed the sixteen (16) technical corrections and discussed them
with Mr. Perry. Numerous questions arose to be addressed to the
City Attorney. George Ruhlen was authorized to draft a letter
requesting additional information and the attendance of the City
Attorney at the next meeting (a copy of the February 6, 1990 letter
is attached).

No Zoning Ordinance matters were discussed.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 o'clock p.m.
