Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given of a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment on Thursday, November 16, 2023
beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building located at 3800 University Blvd.,West University Place,Texas.
Note: The Board reserves the right to convene in a closed session for any agenda item if the need arises pursuant to
authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
The subject(s)of the meeting on which the Board will discuss and take action are:
1. Call to order, notices, rules, etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying
parties, swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Swearing in of Zoning Board of Adjustments Commission Members.
3. Board Member Orientation.
4. Docket No. 2023-0012, regarding the property located at 6328 Buffalo Speedway., Houston, TX 77005
(Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding an application for a variance from the City's Zoning Ordinance,Appendix A,
Article 7, Section 7-101, Table 7-5a, Note 5 to allow a circular driveway to be constructed with the
inside edges of each driveway approach separated by a distance of 18 feet where 24 feet is required
and a variance to Appendix A, Article 7, Section 7-101, Table 7-3,Note 7 to allow pervious pavers to
be utilized in lieu of natural vegetation or landscapes area to satisfy the minimum 50% front yard
pervious area requirement.
b. Deliberate and decide or take other action,regarding the requested variance.
5. Meeting Minutes.
a. Public comments, if any, on the meeting minutes from October 26,2023.
b. Discuss and approve minutes from October 26, 2023.
Anyone with a disability requiring special arrangements to be able to participate in the meeting may contact
the person who signs this notice, below, in advance of the meeting, to allow time for arrangements to be made
as necessary. The meeting place mentioned above is accessible by wheelchairs by using the sloped ramp located
at the west entrance to the municipal building. Specially marked parking spaces are available in the parking lot
adjoining University Boulevard.
