RESOLUTION NO. 2023-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, APPROVING JPMORGAN CHASE BANK
NAAS THE CITY'S DEPOSITORY; AND CONTAINING FINDINGS AND
PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT.
Whereas Texas Local Government Code Section 105.015 provides that the City may select
one or more depositories to provide depository services;
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS:
Section I: JPMorgan Chase Bank NA is designated to serve as the City's
depository bank for depository services for the City's funds.
Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute and deliver the depository
services contracts for JPMorgan Chase NA to act as the City's depository services
bank.
Section 3: All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflict only.
Section 4: This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and
signature.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED, by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the
City of West University Place this the 61h day of November 2023.
