HomeMy WebLinkAbout06162005 ZBA NoticeCity of ~est University P1ace • A Neighborhood City ~ Recyded Pape~ NOTICE OF ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT HEARING The Zoning Board of Adjustment ("ZBA") of the City of West University Place, Texas ("City") will hold a public hearing in the Bill Watson Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, City of West University Place, Texas 77005, during a meeting set to begin at 6:30 P.M. on June 16, 2005. The hearing may be recessed and continued to a ZBA meeting set to begin at 6:30 P.M. on Julv 21, 2005. The purpose of the hearing is to provide a special, additional opportunity for interested persons to be heard in relation to the following matter: Address of the site: 2631 Pittsburgh Street, West University Place, Texas 77005 Legal description of the site: The east 25 feet of lot 2, and the adjoining west 45 feet of Lot 3, in Block 12, of Pemberton Place Addition, an addition in FIarris County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in volume 8, Page 41 of the Map Records of Harris County, Texas. Docket No.: OS-08 Applicant: Paul and Michele Marvin Action Requested: Applicant requests a special exception to allow the garage to be 53 feet from the front • street line rather than the required 70 feet. Article 7, Section 7-lO1,Tarle 7-Sa:Parking, driveways, etc., Note 7., Special Exceptions of the Code of Ordinances. Applicable regulations include the City's Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code and the rules of the ZBA. Other: The CBO has ruled that the request mentioned above was filed late, and only the ZBA can suspend its rules to accept the late filing and hold the hearing on June 16, 2005. However, the CBO has indicated that she will recommend that the ZBA do so.
