NOTICE OF ZONINC BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT HEARINC

The Zoning Board of Adjustment ("ZBA") of the City of West University Place, Texas ("City") will hold a
public hearing in the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, and City of West University Place,
Texas at 6:30 P.M. on June 20, 2002. The hearing may be recessed and continued to the ZBA meeting set to
begin at 6:30 P.M. on Julv 18, 2002 at the same place. The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity
for all persons to be heard in relation to the following matter:
Address of the site: 4020 Riley, Houston, Texas 77005
legal description of the site: Lot 6 and the west 10 feet of Lot 7, Block 23 of Collegeview
Addition, a subdivision in Harris County, Texas, according to the
map or plat thereof, recorded in volume 6, Page 44 of the map
records of Harris County, Texas.

Action Requested or Proposed: Request for a Special Exception regarding Article 7, Table 7-6,
Note 5 Garages in Side Yards, (c). The Table regarding a garage in
a side yard mandates that the garage be built at least 70 feet from the
front property line. The request for the Special Exception is to
allow conshuction of the garage 60 feet from the front property line
in order to preserve a large, existing pecan tree.
Request for a Variance regarding Article 7, Table 7-6, Note 5
Garages in Side Yards (c). The request for a variance is to allow
construction of a garage 60 feet instead of the required 70 feet from
the front property line to preserve a large existing pecan tree.

Applicable regulations include the Cit~s Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code
and the rules of the ZBA. Additional details on such matters, as well as, the applicable regulations are available
