NOTICE OF ZONINC BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT HEARINC
The Zoning Board of Adjustment ("ZBA") of the City of West University Place, Texas ("City") will hold a
public hearing in the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, and City of West University Place,
Texas at 6:30 p.M. on Octoberl7, 2002. The hearing may be recessed and continued to the ZBA meeting set
to begin at 6:30 P.M. on November 21, 2002 at the same place. The purpose of the hearing is to provide an
opportunity for all persons to be heard in relation to the following matter:
Address of the site: 4231 Ruskin, Houston, Texas 77005
Legal description of the site: Lot Five (5), in block Two (2), together with a 26.6' x 50' tract out
of the adjoining Reserve 14, in Colonial Terrace Addition as
recorded in Volume 655, Page 293 of the Deed Records of Harris
County, Texas.

• Action Requested or Proposed: Request for a variance regarding Table 7-2: Yards (or setbacks).
The request for a variance is to allow new home construction at
4231 Ruslcin with a 25' set-back in front yard. Current setback
requirements call for a 30' setback.
Applicable regulations include the Citys Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government Code
and the rules of the ZBA. Additionai details on such matters, as well as, the applicable regulations are available
for public inspection in the Public Works Center, 3826 Amherst, West University Place, 77005. Any person
interested in such matters should attend the hearings.
