Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) and Members of the City Council
will meet in Regular Session on: •
Thursday March 21, 2002 6:30 P.M.
Municipal Building, Bill Watson Conference Room ~
3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005
The subjects of the meeting are as follows:
1. Call to Order. Report as to notice of ineeting.
2. Citizens who wish to be heard. Citizens who wish to address items that are not on the agenda will be
permitted to speak to the ZBA after introducing themselves and giving their address. State law will not
permit the ZBA to fully discuss debate or consider items that are not on the agenda. Items that cannot be
referred to the City Staff for action may be placed on the agenda of a future ZBA meeting.
3. Citizens who wish to address agenda items. Citizens who wish to address specific agenda items will be
permitted to speak to the ZBA after introducing themselves and giving their address.
• 4. Request a Rehearing of Docket 02-O1. Matters related to a request by St. Marks Episcopal Church and
School to be granted a rehearing of the request for a variance at 3816 & 3836 Bellaire Boulevard
regarding Table 7-2: Yards (or'setbacks') of the Zoning Ordinance. The request for a variance is to allow
construction of a new educational building with a 20'-0' side setback along the east property line.
5. Rules of Procedures Suspension. Matters related to suspension of the Rules of Procedures by vote by
the Zoning Board of Adjustrnent if the request for a rehearing in agenda item 4 above is granted, to allow
the rehearing of the variance to continue at the same meeting night as the granting of the motion to rehear.
6. Public Rehearing of Docket 02-O1 (Variance). Request for a variance at 3816 & 3836 Bellaire
Boulevard regarding Table 7-2: Yards (or 'setbacks') of the Zoning Ordinance if the Zoning Board of
Adjustment suspends the rules as described in agenda item 5 above. The request for a variance is to allow
construction of a new educational building with a 20'-0' side setback along the east property line.
7. Public Hearing of Docket 02-O1 (Special Exception). Matters related to a request for a Special
Exception at 3816 & 3836 Bellaire Boulevard regarding Article 12, Prior Non-Conformities, Section 12-
105, Special Exceprions of the Zoning Ordinance to extend PNC Status. The request for the Special
Exception is to authorize the addition of a new educational building in a single-family district.
8. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held on February 21,
2002.
9. Adjournment.
