NOTICE OF ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT HEARING
The Zoning Board of Adjustment ("ZBA") of the City of West University Place, Texas ("City") will
hold a public hearing in the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevard, and City of West
University Place, Texas at 7:30 P.M. on )anuary 18, 2001. The hearing may be recessed and
continued to the ZBA meeting set to begin at 7:30 P.M. on February 15, 2001 at the same place.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity for all persons to be heard in relation to the
following matter:

Permittee/App/icant: Whole Foods Market (with consent of Bellaire Shopping
Center Associates, L. P., Owner)
Action Requested or Proposed: Request for a Special Exception of Section 5 of the Conditions
for Special Exception Docket No. 93-04 to amend by adding
the following:
(e) A 14' high screening wall approximately Z5' in length may
be installed as a visual buffer of the loading dock and
waste storage area of the Bellaire Shopping Center. The
wall shall be located as shown on the attached site plan
and rendering.
Request for a Variance to construct a 14' screening wall
within the rear yard of the Bellaire Shopping Center as shown
on the site plan attached despite the requirement of a 5'
building setback. A 14' screening wall located as shown on
~ the site plan attached shall substitute or replace the special
screen by Zoning Ordinance Section 8-105.
