Notice of Meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) of the City of West University Place, Texas
will meet in a Regular Session on:
Thursday November 16, 2000
7:30 PM
Bill Watson Conference Room
3800 University Boulevard
West University Place, Texas
The subjects of the meeting are as follows:
1. Call to Order. Report as to notice of ineeting.
2. Citizens who wish to be heard. Citizens who wish to address items that are not on the agenda will be
permitted to speak to the LBA after introducing themselves and giving their address. State law will not
permit the ZBA to fully discuss debate or consider items that are not on the agenda. Items that cannot be
referred to the City Staff for action may be placed on the agenda of a future ZBA meeting.
3. Citizens who wish to address agenda items. Citizens who wish to address specific agenda items will be
permitted to speak to the ZBA after introducing themselves and giving their address.
• 4. Public Hearing of Docket 00-21.. Matters relating to a request for a Special Exception at G531
Westchester, Article 7, Table 7-4 a, Note 1, ii to allow a construction of a garage no closer than 54 feet
from the front street line to eliminate the destruction of an 84" pecan tree. Matters relating to a request
for a variance at 6531 Westchester, Article 7, Table 7-6, page ii, Note 5, (c) to allow construction of a
garage no closer than 54 feet from the front street line to eliminate the destruction of an 84" pecan tree.
The current setback requirements call for 70 feet from the front street line.
5. Public Hearing of Docket 00-23. Matters relating to a request for a Special Exception at 4130 Marlowe,
Article 7, Table 7-4a, Note l, (i), (same as 10-1 Ol.b.6i.e) to allow construction of a of a garage with a
three (3) foot minimum setback from the front yard line. The current setback requirements call for 10 feet
or more from the front yard line.
6. Meeting Minutes. 1VIatters relating to the approval of minutes from the meeting held on October 19,
2000.
7. Adjournment.
