REGULAR MEETING OF ZONING. BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
JUNE 27, 197+
The Zaing Board of Adjustment convened ih regular session on Thursday,
June 27, 197+, 7;30 p. m., with the following members present; Chairman
Philip Dunn, presiding; Members Casey, Jahns, and Wilkins. Nor. Johnson
and Mr. Wissel were absent.
Minutes of the last regular meeting of the Zoning Boarcl of Adjustment
on April ~+, 197+, were approved as submitted.
'~ In special session on January 2~+, 197+, the Board took official action
~ to call a rehearing in the case Docketed No. 73-9 filed by Mrs. Rosemary
*-, G. Toomey for permission to use her property located at the dead end of
pq Tangley, on the north side of the street abutting Poor Farm Ditch, being
~ Lot 4-A, Block 73, West Ugii~rersity Second Addition, as a Building site
with less than a 50' front building line.
Also,. on January 2~+, 197+, Mrs. Toomey was granted to secure additional
information in support of her application prior to a rehearing being
scheduled.
Additional information received from Mrs. Toomey was presented to the
Board for consideration.
Following a discussion with regard to the exact dimensions of the pro-
perty, Mr. Dunn stated that he had talked with the City Attorney and was
advised that it would assist the Board in making a judgr~~~it~:on the appli-
cation if Mrs. Toomey was requested to furnish a certified plat of the
property showing easements and the location of her property in relation
to the Poor Farm Ditch.
A Public Hearing will be held for the rehearing of Mrs. Toomey's appli-
cation on Thursday, July 25, 197+, 7.;30 p. m.
With no further business to come before the Board at this time, upon
motion duly made, seconded, and carried the meeting adjourned.
