REGULAR MEETIlVG OF ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
JULY 20, 1g6~+
NOTE: Prior to this meeting, Chairman 0. P. Gill resigned as a member of
the Zoning Board of Adjustment to accept other duties with the city. The
City Commission passed a resolution appointing Mr. Darrel Murff, Alternate
Member, as a member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment, and appointing Mr.
Harold J. Adam as an Alternate Member to replace Mr. Murff.
The Zoning Board of Adjustment convened in regular session at the City Ha 1l
Monday, July 20, 1g6~-, 7:30 p.m., with the following members present: Vice
Chairman Snyder, presiding; Members Livermore, Murff, Whenthoff, Haralson,
Alternate Member Reinhart. Mayor Holman was also present. Mr. Adam was
not present.
It was announced that Chairman 0. P. Gill had resigned as a member of the
Zoning Board of Adjustment to accept other duties with the city, and that
one of the matters of business before the Board at this meeting would be
to elect a new chairman and vice chairman. It was also announced that
Mr. Darrel L. Murff, formerly an alternate member, had been appointed as
a regular member to the Board. Mayor Holman administered the Oath of
Office to Mr. Murff at this time. The Board of #~.djustment was advised
that Mr. Harold J. Adam had been appointed as an Alternate Member of the
Board of Adjustment to fill the vacancy created by the appointment of
Mr. Murff as a regular member.
Motion by Mr. Livermore, seconded by Mr. Whenthoff, that Mr. J. C. Snyder
be elected chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment.
Voting Aye: All
Voting No: None
Motion by Mr. Haralson, seconded by Mr. Whenthoff, that Mr. Les G.
Livermore be elected vice chairman of the Board of Adjustment.
Voting Aye; All
Voting No: None
With no further business to come before the Board at this time, upon
motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
