ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
JUNE 24, 1981
The Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of West University Place convened in
special session at the City Hall, June 24, 1981, 7:30 p.m., with the following
members present: Chairman Billings, presiding; Members. Fromen and Loftice and
Alternate Pdember Frahm.
Notice of special emergency. meeting was posted in the City Hall, 11 a.m.,
June 23, 1981.
The following application for rehearing was presented for consideration.

Re: Appeal No. 81-2
Honorable Zoning Board of Adjustment:
The undersigned hereby petitions the Board to reconsider an appeal to grant
a variance under .Section 24(1) of the Zoning Ordinance, which regards frontage
requirements. After conversation with Frank Billings, .Chairman of the Board,
the undersigned believes the Board should review additional evidence which
may cause the variance to be granted.

Chairman Billing stated that in conversation concerning the rehearing, it was
stated they wish to present (1) petition from eighboring property owners and
(2) the architect will present drawings showing interior construction and the
use of the .space.
Members discussed the application for rehearing on basis of merit and opportunity
of owner to present .all evidence possible.
Motion by P-fir. Billings, seconded by Mr. Fromen, that application for rehearing of
application docketed #81-2 from Andrew Viola to enclose an entrance way which
would extend approximately 3 ft. into the front setback on
E.35 ft.of Lot 22, W.25ft. of Lot 23

be accepted.

With no further business to come before the Board, upon motion duly made,
seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
