MINUTES
November 19, 1998
I. MEMBERS PRESENT: Sue Poretto, Chairperson, Michael Neal, Steven Segal, Frank Billings
II. STAFF PRESENT: Dennis Holm, Building Official, Christine Cavalier, Building Secretary
III. CALL TO ORDER: 7:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Sue Poretto. Protocol for the meeting was given and those persons wishing to speak
regarding various agenda items were swom in. Secretary Christine Cavalier reported that all notices for this meeting had been propertly
posted in accordance with State law. Frank Billings made a motion to accept that notices had been properly posted for this meeting.
Michael Neal seconded the motion, and it passed with all board members in agreement.
Matters relating to 4130 Riley, Lot 67 and the West 1/2 of Lot 68, Fairhaven Addition was then considered by the board. Members
heard evidence from Murphy Klassing attorney for Kevin Mei, owner of the property. The members then considered the evidence
presented. Frank Billings moverl that the variance be granted subject to modifications that would be agreed upon by the Zoning Board
members. Steven Segal seconded the motion. Those in favor were Frank Billing and Steven Segal. Those in opposition were Sue
Poretto and Michael Neal. Due to lack of a unanimous vote, the motion failed, thus the variance was denied.
The meeting was then adjourned.
