March 2, 2000

I. MEMBERS PRESENT: Les Albin, Roy Harper, Craig Hughes, James McDaniel,
Bryant Slimp, Steven Stelzer, and Bill May, City Council

6:04 p.m.

4. Appeal of re-inspection fee The Building Official requested that the item be None.
issued to 6436 Brompton. tabled, as staff has resolved this issue.
5. Building Code and Plan The Building Official gave a brief overview of a None
Submittal Information Sheet new information sheet that will be distributed to
builders and developers to help them through the
permitting process. He also discussed new cover
sheet formats for plan submittal, which should
help in reducing the time it currently takes to
review tans.
6. Staff Comments The Building Official announced possible None
plans to provide inspection services for
Southside Place. He requested that we not
proceed further with review of the International
One and Two Family Dwelling Code until a
decision is made regarding the Southside Place
ins ections.
7. Commission Member It was requested that the Urban Forester attend None
Comments the next meeting to provide a report on the
Tree Trust.
There was brief discussion regarding the
recommendations the Commission made to the
City Council in 1999. Members may consider
discussin these items a ain at a later date.
8. Adjournment (7:00 p.m.) None Bryant Slimp moved to adjourn.
