Mr. Perry confirmed that the Building Code requires a pier and beam foundation for a structure over 300 sq. feet. Mr. Perry said there might be a problem if a future resident of 4120 Southwestern decides they want to build a 2nd story to the garage and the foundation is not built on pier and beams.
