Mr. Harper explained that the house on the property located at 2620 Fenwood is a one story house which was built without a pier foundation. He has designed a foundation similar to the one existing for an addition which is to be built on the property. Because of the size of the addition, a pier and beam foundation is required. He believes the difference in the foundations would eventually cause problems. Mr. Perry said a foundation with piers under the proposed addition would probably cause problems in the future. After a brief discussion Nick Aschliman made motion seconded by Barnett Gershen to allow the foundation of the addition to be built without piers. Voting Aye: Philip Lewis, Nick Aschliman, Barnett Gershen, Carolyn Hodgins, and Dale Reid.
