MEMBERS Ross Fava(voting), Lawrence Foust(voting), Owen Rutz (voting) PRESENT: Frank Monacelli (voting), Francois Daube (voting) and Michael Tucker H. MEMBERS Jay Cohen, Donald Yurewicz and Harold Rocketto ABSENT: III. STAFF PRESENT: Scott Bounds, Legal Counsel, Brian Hunt, Building Official and Josie Hayes, Administrative Coordinator, Joseph Newton, Zoning Official IV. CALL TO ORDER: 6:30 p.m. 1. This proposed residence has been designed to save two existing oak trees in roughly the middle of this property. This home plan is designed to utilize these trees as a courtyard amenity,whereas a typical design would remove these trees. The setbacks for a residential home are determined by the total width of the building site. In this case,the combing of these lots into one building site would require 12.25' side yard interior setbacks.An important note is that the minimum side yard setback is five(5) feet,but as a building site becomes larger, the interior side-yard setbacks are increased due to the 10% requirement found in Table 7-2 Yards(or setbacks). The applicant is requesting a Variance for the easterly interior side-yard and all other yard requirements will be satisfied. 3. Meeting Minutes.
