Notice of Building & Standards Commission Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Building & Standards Commission (BSC) and members of the
City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will hold a meeting on:
May 4, 2006
Beginning at 6:30 P.M.
In the Municipal Building, Bill Watson Conference Room,
Located at 3800 University Blvd, West University Place, Texas 77005.
The subjects of the meeting are as follows:
~Call to Order.J
1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules, meeting procedures and identifying parties.
2. Variance Request. Matters relating to a variance request by H.J. and Aggie L. Foster to locate a
swimming pool less than five feet from the property line at 3715 Tangley.
3. Uadates. Matters relating to the progress of previous commission projects and reports to City
Council including the technical ordinance, structural ordinance and foundation ordinance.
, 4. Flood Protection and Prevention Ordinance. Matters relating to flood protection, flood
prevention, base elevations, CRS program, and possible ordinance amendments.
5. Meetin~ minutes. Matters relating to approval, changes, or revisions to meeting minutes from
February 2, 2006 and Apri16, 2006.
6. Summer Schedule. Matters relating to discussion concerning the upcoming summer meeting
dates and possible future agenda discussion items.

THE WEST ENTRANCE TO THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING. SPECIALLY- MARKED PARXING
SPACES ARE AVAILABLE IN THE PARKING LOT ADJOINING UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD.
