Notice of Building & Standards Commission Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Building & Standards Commission (BSC) and members
of the City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will hold a meeting on:
September 7, 2006
Beginning at 6:00 P.M.
In the Municipal Building, Bill Watson Conference Room,
Located at 3800 University Blvd, West University Place, Texas 77005.
The subjects of the meeting are as follows:

1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, introductions, rules, meeting procedures
and identifying parties.
2. Request for Presentation of Alternate Pipin~ Materials. Matters relating to a request
by Terry Donahoe to present information concerning XPA Plumb Better piping systems.
• Applicant requests the board to consider a possible code amendment allowing the use of
this piping as an alternative to copper tubing.
3. Flood Protection and Prevention Re~ulations. Matters relating to a preliminary report
. to City Council concerning floodplains, floodplain management regulations, FIltM's,
base flood elevations, drainage, flooding, building heights, etc.
4. Portable On Demand Storage (PODS). Matters relating to possible code amendments
regulating portable on demand storage units.
5. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to discussion and approval of the meeting minutes of
May 4, 2006.
