Notice is hereby given that the Building & Standards Commission (BSC) and members
of the City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas will hold a meeting on:
J u ly 1 st, 2004
Beginning at 6:00 P.M.
In the Municipal Building, Bill Watson Conference Room,
Located at 3800 University Blvd, West University Place, Texas 77005.
The subjects of the meeting are as follows:

1. Notices, Rules, Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules, meeting procedures and identifying
parties.
2. Workshou Minutes. Matters relating to the Foundation Workshop minutes from May 18`h,
2004 BSC meeting.
3. Meetin~ Minutes. Matters relating to meeting minutes from the June 3`d, 2004 BSC
• meeti.ng.
4. M~tters Relating to the Buildin~ Standard Commission Recommendations and Status
Re~ort• A) Status of 3840 Ruskin Street. ~
5. Elevations. Matters relating to minimum first floor elevations above the BFE.

6. Foundations. Matters relating to foundations, soil testing, piers, etc. A) Discussion of the
revisions to the Foundation Draft. B) Ordinance wording concerning soil reports, piers and
foundations. C) Related matters.
7. Old Stock Housin~. Matters relating to old stock houses. A) Goals for Old Stock Housing.
B) Related Matters.
