A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE SENIOR SERVICES BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed to serve as members of the Senior
Services Board for a specific term of the specific position indicated below, under and subject to Chapter
2, as last amended by Ordinance 1751.

Section 2~ Each board or commission is requested to nominate a slate of other officers to be
approved by the City Council.
Section 3. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict "herewith are hereby repealed
to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 4. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragrap"h, section or other part of this
resolution or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall ever be held to be invalid or
u"nconstitutional by any cou11 of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this resolution and the
application of such word} phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this resolution to
any other persons or circu"mstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 5~ The City Council officially finds, determines and declares that a sufficient
written notice oft~~ date, "hour, place and subject of eac"h meeting at which this resolution was discu~s~,
considered or acted upon was given in the manner required "by the Texas Open Meetings Act, as
amended, and that each such meeting has been open to the "public as required by law at all times during
such discussion, consideration and action. The City Council ratifies, approves and con:nrms such notices
and the contents and posting thereof.
