A R:ESOLUTION APPOINTING MUNICIPAL CO.U.RT PERSONNEL FOR Tl-IE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS; AN.D CONTAINING FINDINGS AND PROVIS10NS
RELATING TO T.HE SUBJECT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO.UNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed for positions in the Municipal
Court of the C.ity of West .University Place, Texas~ with tefIllS of office as follows:

Section 2. That such officers are hereby vested with all powers and duties as set
forth in the Charter of the City of West University Place and the Statutes of the State of Texas
pertaining to his appointlnent and shall receive cOlnpensation as lnay be authorized by the City
COllnel I frorn tilne to time.
Section 3. Each shall also serve after the expiration of their tenns of office unti I their
successors are appointed and shal I have quali-tied.
Section 4. That th is appointnlent Inade by this resolution shall take effect
inllnediately upon passage and approval hereof
Section 5. A II resolutions and parts of resolutions in con:fl ict herewith are here by
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 6. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph~ section or other pali of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirCUI11stance, shall ever be held to be
inval id or unconstitutional by any court of COll1petent jurisdiction, the remainder of this resolution
and the application of slIch word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this
resolution to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 7. The City Council officially finds, detennines and declares that a sufficient
written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each nleeting at wh ich this resolution was
discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the Inanner required by the Texas Open
Meetings Act~ as amended, and that each such meeting has been open to the public as required by
la\v at all tinles during stich discussion, consideration and action. The City Council ratifies,
approves and confinns such notices and the contents and posting thereo:[
