RESOLUTION NUMBER 2004-12
A RESO'LUTION APPOINTING AND 'REAPPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE FRIENDS OF WEST UNIVE.RSITY PARKS FUND, INCc, A NON-
PROFIT CORPORATION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed and reappointed to serve as
Inembers of the Board of Directors of the Friends of West 'University Parks Fund, Inc., a non-profit
corporation, for a specific tenn of the specific position indicated below:

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repeal ed to th e extent of th e co 11ft i cts on I Y T
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the appl ication thereof to any person or CirClllTIstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the remainder of this resolution
and the application of such word, phrase~ clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this
resolution to any other persons or cirClllllstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Counci I officially finds, detenn ines and declares that a sufficient
written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each Ineeting at which this resolution was
discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the Inanner required by the Texas Open
Ivleetings Act~ as an1ended, and that each such lneeting has been open to the public as required by
'Jaw at all times during such discussion, consideration and action. The City Council ratifies,
approves and confirnls sllch notices and the contents and posting thereof.
