A RESOLUTION. APPOINTING A ME.MBER TO THE REeye.LING AND SOLID WASTE
RE.DUCTJON BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following person is appointed to serve as a lnelnber of the
Recycling and Solid Waste Reduction Board for a specific terlTI of the specific position indicated
below, under and subject to Chapter 2'1 as last amended by Ordinance 1686.

Section 2. All resolutions and palts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirClllTIstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, the relnainder of th is resolution
and the application of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph~ section or other part of this
resolution to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, deterlnines and declares that a sufficient
written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each nleeting at which this resolution was
discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the Inanner required by the Texas Open
Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such lueeting has been open to the public as required hy
law at all tilues d tIring such discussion, consideration and action. The City Counci"l ratifies,
approves and confinns such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
