A RESOLUTION APPOINTIN"G MEMBERS TO THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed to serve as Inelnbers of the Building and
Standards COllllllission for a specific tenn of the specific position indicated below, under Chapter 6 of the
Code ofOrdillances and Chapter 54 of the Texas Local Govenllnent Code.

Section 2. Each board or COlllluission is requested to nominate a slate of other officers to be
approved by the City Council.
Section 3. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 4. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this
resolution or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall ever be held to be invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the relnainder of this resolution and the application
of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this resolution to any other persons
or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 5. The City Council official.ly finds, detennines and declares that a sufficient written
notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each lneeting at which this resolution was disclIssed, considered
or acted upon was given in the Inanner required by the Texas Open Meetings Act, as atnended; and that each
such Ineeting has been open to the public as required by law at all tinles during such discussion,
consideration and action. The City Council ratifies, approves and confinTIs such notices and the contents
and posting thereof.
