A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PARKS AN.D RECR'EA TION BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNC~ OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed to serve as Inelnbers of the Parks and
Recreation Board for a specific terlTI of the specific position indicated below, under and subject to Chapter 2~
as last an1ended by Ordinance 1686~

Section 2. 'Each board or COlTIlnission is requested to 110111inate a slate of other officers to be
approved by the City Council.
Section 3. All resolutions and patts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 4. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this
resolution or the app licatiol1 thereof to any person or circuJTIstallce, shall ever be held to be inval id or
unconstitutional by any court of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the relnainder of this resolution and the application
of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other palt of this resolution to any other persons
or CirCU1TIstal1Ces shall not be affected thereby.
Section 5. The City Council officially finds, deterlnines and declares that a sufficient written
notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each Jneeting at which this resolution was discussed, considered
or acted upon was given 'in the ll1anner required by the Texas Open .M.eetings Act, as an1ended, and that each
such meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all tilues during such d.iscussion,
consideration and action. The City Council ratifies, approves and confirllls such notices and the contents
and posting thereof.
