A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE SENIOR SERVICES BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1 ~ That the following persons are appointed to serve as lnembers of the Senior Services
"Board for a specific term of the specific position indicated below, under and subject to Chapter 2, as last
alnended by Ord inance 1686~

Section 2. Each board or COHltniss ion is requested to nominate a slate of other officers to be
approved by the City Council.
Section 3. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the
extent of the conflicts only.
Section 4. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this resolution
or the application thereof to any person or circulllstance, shall ever be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by
any court of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the remainder of this resolution and the application of such word, phrase,
clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this resolution to any other persons or circuIllstances shall
not be affected thereby~
Section 5. The City Council officially finds, deterlnines and declares that a sufficient wrij:t:eJ}
notice of the date, hour, p'lace and subject of each lneeting at which this resolution was discllssed, considered or
acted upon was given in the manner required by the Texas Open Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such
t11eeting has been open to the public as required by law at all tilnes during stich discussion, consideration and
action. The City Council ratifies, approves and con'firms such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
