A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO T.HE RECYCLING AND SOLID WASTE
R:EDUCTION BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV.ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section t. That the following person is appointed to serve as a meluber of the
Recycl ing and Sol id Waste Reduction Board for a specific term of the spec ific pas ition ind icated
below, under and subject to Chapter 2, as last amended by Ordinance 1686.

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in confl let herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3c If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other palt of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirCllITIstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of th is resolution
and the application of slLch word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of th is
resolution to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, determines and declares that a sufficient
written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each meeting at which this resolution was
discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the .manner required by the Texas Open
Meetings Act, as amended, and that each such meeting has been open to the public as required by
Jaw at all times during such discussion, consideration and action. The City Council ratifies,
approves and confirms such notices and the contents and posting thereof
