A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF West University Place
CASTING ITS BALLOT FOR THE ELECTION OF A PERSON
TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
HARRIS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the chief appraiser of the Harris County Appraisal District, HalTis County,
Texas, has delivered to tlle rnayor oftllis city, tile names of those persons duly nOlninated as
candidates to serve in that position 011 t11e board of directors of the Han''is County Appraisal
District, representing and to be filled by the cities otl1er than the City of Houston, participating in
said appraisal district~ alld
WHEREAS, this city deems it appropriate and in tIle public il1terest to cast its vote for
the candidate of its choice to fill suc.h position; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PL;ACE
Section 1 ~ That the facts and recitations set forth in the preanlble of tllis resoll1tion be,
and they are hereby, adopted, ratified, and confirnled.
Section 2. That the City of West Univer~ Place , cast its vote, and it
does hereby cast its vote, for 1{/'c/J/huJ &. ~ Ie.....-- , to fill the position on the
board of directors of the Harris COU.11ty Appraisal District, representing and to be filled. by the
cities, otller tllan the City of Houston, participating in the ap:praisal district
Section 3. That the mayor be, and he or she is l1ereby, authorized al1d directed to deliver
or cause to be delivered an executed or certified copy of thjs resolution to the chief appraiser of
the Harris County Appraisal District no later than Decelnber 17, 2007~
