RESOLUTION NUMBER 2001-1~
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE ZONING AND PLANNING
COMMISSION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. The following persons are appointed to serve as Inenlbers of the Zoning
and Planning COllllnission for a specific term of the specific position indicated belovv, under and
subject to Article V of the City Charter, the Zoning Ord inance of the City and appl icable State
Law.

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph~ section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirCUlTIstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any COlut of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the relnainder of tl1 is
resolution and the application of such \vord~ phrase, clause, sentence, para.graph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or CirCUlTIstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, deterlnines and declares that a
sufficient \vritten notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each I11eeting at \vhich this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the tnanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as anlended, and that each such 111eeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all thnes dUrltlg such discussion, consideration and action. The City
Council ratifies, approves and confirms such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
