A RESOLUTION APPOINT1NG MEMBERS TO THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS
COMMISSION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed to serve as l11elnbers of the
Building and Standards COlnlnission for a specific tenn of the specific position indicated belo'vv~
under Chapter 6 of the Code of Ordinances and Chapter 54 of the Texas .Local Goven1l11ent

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or cirClllhstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any COUlt of COln petent jurisd iction, the relnainder of this
resolution and the application of such word, phrase, clause~ sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or CirCUI11stances shall not be affected thereby&
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, deternlines and declares that a
sufficient \Vfitten notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each Ineeting at which this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the Inanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such meeti.ng has been open to tbe public
as required by law at all times dur.ing such discussion, consideration and a.ction~ The City
Council ratifies, approves and confirnls such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
