A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section l~ That the following persons are appointed to serve as nlen1bers of the
Parks and Recreation .Board for a specific terlTI of the specific position indicated belovv~ under
and subject to Chapter 2, as last alnended by Ordinance 1686~

Section 2. All reso I utions and pal1s of reso lutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3 . If any word, phrase, c.lause~ sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirCiUTIstance, shal I ever be he.[d to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any COlut of COlnpetent j urisd.iction, the relnainder of th is
resolution and the application of such word~ phrase, clause~ se.ntence"J paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or CirClUTIstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, detennines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour~ place and subject of each meeting at which this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the 111anner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such lueeting has been open to the public
as requ ired by law at all times during such discussion, cons ideration and action~ The City
Council ratifies, approves and confinns such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
