RESOLUTION NUMBER 2001-1~
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO .PUBLIC SAFETY BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed to serve as lnelnbers of the
Public Safety .Board for a specific terlTI of the specific position indicated below, under and
subject to Chapter 2, as created by Ordinance 1686.

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts on Iy.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, shall ever be held to be
invaUd or unconstitutional by any COlut of C0111petent jurisdiction, the rell1ainder of this
resolution and the application of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or CirCtllTIstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Councjl officially finds, deternlines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and sllbject, of each lTI.eeting at 'vvhich this
resolution was disclIssed, considered or acted upon was given in the Inanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as aluended, and that each sllch meeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all tinles during slIch discussion, consideration and action. The City
COlll1C.iJ. ratifies, approves and. confi rms sllch notices and the contents and posting thereof.
