A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE A:DUL T SERVICES BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIm
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1; That the fo llowing person is appointed to serve as a 111elTI ber of the Ad ult
Services Board for a specific tefln of the specific position indicated below, under and subject to
Chapter 2, as last amended by Ordina.nce 1686.

Section 2. AJJ resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of'
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or c.irclUTIstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutionaJ by any COUlt of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the relnainder of this
resolution and the applicatjon of sllch word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially 'finds, detennines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each nleeting at which this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the fnanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act~ as alnended, and that each such lueeting has been open to the public
as requ ired by law at all times during such discussjon, cons ideration and action. The City
Counci I ratifies, approves and confirms such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
