RESOLUTION NUMBER 2001-2>
A RESO.LUTION. AP.POINTING A .MEMBER TO THE RECYCLING AND SOLID WASTE
REDUCTION BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following person is appointed to serve as a 111enlber of the
Recycling and Solid Waste Reduction Board for a specific tenn of the specific position [nel icated
below, under and subject to Chapter 2, as last alnended by Ordinance 1686.

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repeated to the extent of the contlicts only~
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of'
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or circunlstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any COlut of C0l11petent jurisdict.ion; the ren1ainder of th is
reSQ lution and the appl ication of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or othe r
part of this resolution to any other persons or circun1stances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officiaUy finds, detennines and dee.lares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each Ineeting at which this
reso lution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the Inanner requ ired by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such lneeting has been open to the publ.ic
as required by law at all tinles during such discussion, consideration and action. The City
Council ratifies, approves and confi nns such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
