A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A IvIEMBER TO T.I-IE SENIOR SERVICES BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following person is appointed to serve as a. Inenlber of the
Senior Services Board for a specific terlTI of the specific position indicated below, under and
subject to Chapter 2, as last amended by Ordinance 1561.

Section 2~ All resolutions and parts of resolutions in confl ict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirClI111stance, shall ever be held to be
inval id or unconstitutional by any court of competent juri sd iction, the relnainder of th is
resolution and the application of such word, pllrase, clause, sentence, paragraph~ section or other
part ofth.is resolution to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4~ The Ci.ty Council officially finds, deterlTI ines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each Ineeting at which this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the lnanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as amended, and that each such Ineeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all tilnes during such discussion, consideration and a.ction~ The City
Council ratifies, approves and confirms such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
