RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-01.
A RESO:L.UTION APPOINTING A M.EMBE.R TO TH.E FRIENDS OF WEST UNIV.ERSITY
PARI(S FUN.D, ANON-PROFIT CORPORATION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following person is appointed to serve as a Inelnber of the
Friends of West University Parks Fund for a specific tenn of the specific position indicated
below:

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or cirClIn1stance, shall ever be held to be
.invalid or unconstitutional by any court of COlnpetent jurisdiction., the renlainder of this
resolution and the app.lication of sllch word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or circurllstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Counc-il officially finds, determines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each lueeting at whi.ch this
resolution was discllssed, considered or acted upon was given in the 111anner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such Ineeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all tinles 'during such discussion, consideration and action. The City
Council ratifies, approves and confirllls such notices and the contents and posting thereof~
