RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-03
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE :SUIL.DING AND STANDARDS
COMMISSION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following person is appointed to serve as a lnenlber of the
Building and Standards COlnn1ission for a specific tenn of the specific position indicated below,
under Chapter 6 of the Code of Ordinances and Chapter 54 of the Texas Local Governtnent
Code.

Section 2~ All resolutions and pal1s of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other palt of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or cirCUolstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the remainder of this
resolution and the application of snch word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or CirCUJ11stances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council offic.ially finds, detennines and dee.lares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each lneeting at which this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given .in the rnanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings A.ct, as runended, and that each such tneeting has been open to the public
as required by law at al.l tilnes during sllch discussion, consideration and action. The City
Council ratifies, approves and confirnls such notices and the contents and posting tllereof.
