RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-06
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE SENIOR SERVICES BOARD; AND
CONTAINING FINDINGS AND P.ROVISIONS RELA TlNG TO THE SUBJECT.
WHEREAS, certain persons have indicated a desire and willingness to serve as
tnetubers of the Senior Services Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed to serve as 111elnbers of the
Senior Services Board for a specific terln of the specific position indicated below, under and
subject to Chapter 2, as last amended by Ordinance 1561.

Section 26 All resolutions and parts of resoJutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only~
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or cirCUlllstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any cauIt of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the relnainder of this
resolution and the application of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, secti.ol1 or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or CirClUTIstances shall not be affected thereby~
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, deterlnines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each lneeting at which this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the lnanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such tneeting has been open to the public
as required by Jaw at all tilnes dudng such discussion, consideration and action~ The C.ity
Council ratifies, approves and confirms such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
