A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE ZONING AND P.LANNING
COMMISSION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section ]. The following person is appointed to serve as a JneJnber of the Zoning
and PI.anning COlTIlnission for a specific terlTI of the specific position indicated below, under and
subject to Article V of the City Charter, the Zoning Ordinance of the City and applicable State
Law.

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repeal ed to the extent of the co nfl icts on J y.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or cirCUlnstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, the relnainder of this
resolution and the application of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or CirCUlTIstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, deterlnines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each Ineeting at which this
resolution was discussed., considered or acted upon was given in the Olanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such lneeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all times during such discussion, consideration and action~ The City
Council ratifies, approves and confirlns such notices and the contents and posting thereof~
