RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-21
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING. MEMBERS TO THE RECYCLING AND SOLID WASTE
REDUCTION BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL O.F THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1 ~ That the following persons are appointed to serve as lnelnbers of the
.Recycling and Solid Waste Reduction Board for a specific terlll of the specific position indicated
below, under and subject to Chapter 2, as last atnended by Ordinance 1561.

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in confl iet herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word~ phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or cirCUll1stance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, the relnainder of this
resolution and the application of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or circulllstances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4~ The City Council officially finds, deterluines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each lneeting at which this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the Inanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as alnended, and that each such 11leeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all tilnes during such discussion, consideration and action. The City
Council ratifies, approves and confinns such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
