RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-22
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO TI-IE PARKS AN.D .RECREA TION. BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY CO.UNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed to serve as Inelnbers of the
Parks and Recreation .Board for a specific tenn of the specific position indicated below, under
and subject to Chapter 2, as last alnended by Ordinance 1561.

Section 2~ All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word~ phrase., clause, sentence~ paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirCUl11stance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any COUlt of competent jurisdiction~ the remainder of this
resolution and the application of sllch word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
palt of this resolution to any other persons or circur~stances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, deternlines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each :Iueeting at which this
resolution was d.iscussed, considered or acted upon was given in the 111anner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as anlended, and that each such lueeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all titues during such discussi.on~ consideration and action.. The City
Council ratifies, approves and confirnls such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
