RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-23"
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO Tf-IE S"ENIOR SERVICES BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following persons are appointed to serve as menlbers of the
Senior Services Board for a specific term of the specific position indicated below., under and
subject to Chapter 2, as last amended by Ordinance 1561.

Section 2~ All resolutions and parts of resoluti.ons in conflict herew"ith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this reso lution or the app lication thereof to any person or c irCU111stance, shall ever be held to be
inval id or unconstitutional by any court of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the relnainder of this
resolution and the application of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part ofth:is resolution to any other persons or CirClII11stances shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, deterlnines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour., place and subject of each ll1eeting at which this
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the lnanner required by the
Texas Open Meeti!lgs Act, as alnended, and that each such Ineeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all titnes during slIch discussion, consideration and action. The City
Council ratifIes, approves and confinlls such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
