RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-30
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBER TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION .BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following person is appointed to serve as a lneluber of the Parks
and .Recreation Board for a specific terlTI of the specific position indicated below, under and
subject to Chapter 2, as last alnended by Ord.inance 1561.

Section 26 All resoluti.ons and parts of resolutions in conflict herew'jth are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence~ paragraph, section or other palt of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirCiUTIstance, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of COlnpetent jurisdiction, the remainder of this
resolution and the application of such word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of this resolution to any other persons or cirCUlnstances shall not be affected thereby~
Section 4. The City Council officially fi.nds, deterluines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each meeting at which th is
resolution was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the lnanner required by the
Texas Open M:eetings Act, as alnended, and that each such Ineeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all tinles during such discussion, consideration and action. The City
Council ratifies, approves and confirms such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
