RESOLUTION NUMBER 99-31
A .RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBER TO THE N.EIGHBORHOOD SAFETY BOARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNNERSITY PLACE:
Section 1. That the following person is appointed to serve as a Inenlber of the
N.eighborhood Safety Board for a specific te.nn of the specific position indicated be.low, under
and subject to Chapter 2, as last amended by Ordinance 1561 ~

Section 2. All resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed to the extent of the conflicts only.
Section 3. If any word, phrase, c.lause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of
this resolution or the application thereof to any person or CirClUTIstallce, shall ever be held to be
invalid or unconstitutional by any court of C0l11petent jurisdiction, the retnainder of this
resolution and the application of such ,word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other
part of t11 is resolution to any other .persons or cirClllllstallces shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. The City Council officially finds, detern1ines and declares that a
sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each meeting at which this
resolution was discllssed, considered or acted upon was given in the Inanner required by the
Texas Open Meetings Act, as aUlended, and that each such Ineeting has been open to the public
as required by law at all thnes during such discussion, consideration and action. The City
Council ratifies, approves and COnfirlTIS such notices and the contents and posting thereof.
