HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 1764 - budget 2004 ORDINANCE NO. 1764 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2004 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2004; CONTAINING FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, it is f0U11d and deterluined tl1at changes in tIle currellt blld.get are necessary for mu.nicipal purposes and that anlendments are l1ecessary for emergencies of the kind contelnplated by state law, and it is formally found, determined al1d declared tllat suell emergel1cies exist; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF T.HE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS: Section 1. That the budget of the City of West University Place fOT the 12 month period begilming JatlUary 1, 2004, and ending December 31, 2004 as l1eretofore adopted be, aIld it is l1ereby, anlended as S110W11 in Attaclunellt A attaclled. Section 2. The City COllllCil approves, adopts llild ratifies tile fil1d-ings set out .in tIle preamble hereof and directs tllat tIle City Secretary file a copy of tllis ordillance with t11e county clerI(, in tIle SaIne nlamler as original blldgets are required to be filed.. Sectiol13. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict l1erewith are l1ere.by repealed to the extent of tile conflict only Section. 4.
