CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION
MONDAY, JANUARY 15, 2001
MUNICIPAL BUILDING CONFERENCE ROOM

The City Council convened in Special Session in the Municipal Building Conference
Room (3800 University Blvd.) on January 15, 2001, with the following members present:
Mayor Lewis presiding, Council Members Bertini and Grubb. The City Manager, City
Secretary, City Attorney, Police Chief, Fire Chief and Public Works Director were also
present. Council Members Ballanfant and May were absent
The notice for this meeting was posted in accordance with the Texas Government Code,

Chapter 551, on the 12 day of January 2001 at 12:45 p.m.
MEETING WITH CITY OF SOUTHSIDE PLACE:
Members of the City Council met with officials from the City of Southside Place.
Present from the City of Southside Place were:
Richard Rothfelder, Mayor
Paul Berner, Council Member
Jeff Elkin, Council Member
David Palmer, Council Member
Pat Patterson, Council Member
Vicky Piper, Council Member
David Moss, City Manager
Champ Warren, Assistant Fire Chief
The city officials discussion included the following:
Interlocal Cooperation Contract for Law Enforcement Assistance
Agreement for Automatic Assistance
Boundary Agreement
Operation and facilities effecting both cities
Programs, events and activities on which both cities may cooperate
Other similar agreements
Police Dispatch
Home Place Celebration
Replacement of Water tank

ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business to come before the City Council at this time the Special Session
adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
