CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL SESSION
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2002
MUNICIPAL BUILDING COUNCIL CHAMBERS
3800 UNIVERSITY BLVD.
6:00 P.M.
The City Council convened in Special Session in the Municipal Building Council
Chambers (3800 University Blvd.) on September 4, 2002, with the following members
present: Mayor Pro Tem May presiding, Council Members Farley, Griffin, and Jackson.
The City Manager, City Secretary, Finance Director, Parks and Recreation Director,
Interim Public Works Director, Utilities Superintendent, Building Official, and General
Services Superintendent were also present. Mayor Lewis was absent.
The notice for this meeting was posted in accordance with the Texas Government Code,

Chapter 551, on the 30 day of August 2002 at 4:20 p.m.
City finances, facilities, programs and the 2003 Budget.
Matters related to city finances, facilities, programs, and the 2003 Budget including
revenues and expenditures for current and future years for all funds, and capital
improvements, priorities, and related programs and expenditures, including YMCA
facilities and other park projects, police and public works facilities, street lighting,
sidewalks, drainage and flood control, animal recreation facility, traffic and parking and
other public improvements.
The City Council and Staff discussed the proposed 2003 Budget Enterprise Fund, which
includes the Water Utility Fund and Solid Waste Fund. The Infrastructure Replacement
Fund, Equipment Replacement Fund and Special Revenue Funds were also discussed.
Adjournment.
With no further business to come before the City Council at this time, a motion was made
by Council Member Griffin, seconded by Council Member Jackson, to adjourn. The
Special Session adjourned at 7:12 p.m.
